SIPs – Structural Insulated Panels
SIPs—Structural Insulated Panels—contain a layer of insulating foam sandwiched between two sheets of structural OSB. They are energy-efficient panels that offer high-performance, moisture-resistant insulation in a structural panel for floors, walls and roofs.
AinsworthEngineered® OSB sheathing is used to manufacture SIP panels that provide significant savings in time and labor. Our OSB sheathing is not prone to warping, twisting or bowing, and accepts screws and nails easily. To facilitate SIP manufacture, our sheathing panels are available in a range of standard sizes, and as Jumbo panels up to 24 feet long.
AinsworthEngineered OSB for SIP panels is APA Quality Assured to the PR-N610 standard for thickness, span and exposure ratings. For more information on SIPs, visit www.SIPS.org.
AinsworthEngineered wood products are manufactured in North American mills, with wood sourced from sustainably managed North American forestlands. Like all AinsworthEngineered OSB products, our SIP panels earn LEED credits.
